At eformly, we take the security and privacy of your documents seriously. Here is a plain-language overview of how we protect your data.

1. Data Encryption

In Transit: All communications between your browser and our servers are encrypted using modern TLS (Transport Layer Security).

At Rest: All stored data, including PDF templates, filled forms, and database records, are encrypted at rest using industry-standard AES-256 encryption.

2. Document & Signature Handling

When you use our Quick Fill or Form Builder tools:

  • Signatures: Biometric signature data (the path of your drawing) is only kept in memory while generating the final PDF. We do not permanently store signature data in our database.
  • Temporary Files: For quick filling tasks where no account is used, uploaded documents are processed and temporarily stored only to allow you to download the result, after which they are automatically purged.
  • Form Builder Storage: For authenticated users, your templates and submissions are stored securely in your account until you delete them.

3. Access Controls

We enforce strict access controls on your data:

  • Your account is protected by industry-standard authentication protocols.
  • Shareable form links use unique, non-guessable identifiers.
  • You can set passcodes for specific documents to ensure only authorized recipients can view or sign them.
  • Our team does not access your documents unless explicitly requested by you for support purposes.

4. Infrastructure & Compliance

Our platform is hosted on secure, compliant infrastructure (Vercel and Supabase) that adheres to strict industry standards, including SOC 2 and ISO 27001. We regularly monitor our systems for vulnerabilities and keep all software components up to date.

5. Data Privacy

6. Reporting Security Issues
